Because Yosemite Ridge understands the financial burdents of caring for a child with a chronic illness, no camper or family is charged to attend our camps. However, it costs Yosemite Ridge $1,250 for a child to attend one of our camps. It costs $1,000 for a family to attend our weekend camps. Yosemite Ridge operates solely through donations, grants, and through our fundraising events. You can make a financial contribution in several ways:

Tribute Gifts
Gifts can be made in memory of a loved one or special event like a birthday, anniversary or special occasion. If you give a gift as a tribute, please let us know by including a note with the name of the person or family member you wish us to notify, for what occasion, and their address, along with your name and address.

Gifts of Securities
Gifts of securities are a wonder way to support Yosemite Ridge which will provide you with a tax deduction for the current, full market value of the securities. There are three main types of securities that can be donated to the camp: publicly traded stock in a corporation, shares in a mutual fund, or bonds. Please note that it is the policy of Yosemite Ridge to sell the securities immediately upon transfer. Capital Contributions
Capital gifts are needed to rebuild Yosemite Ridge at Camp Wawona. Sponsoring a building will provide real benefits to individuals, corporations and foundations alike. The naming of buildings is still available. You can contact Brooke Sadler, Director of Development, at bsadler@yosemiteridge.org.

Gifts In-Kind
We love to receive in-kind donations which help us to make the camp facility, it’s activities and programs the best they can be for our campers and families.

Gifts In-Kind are defined as gifts of assets like furniture, autos, electronics, and many other items that have been designated by our camp representatives as needed for camp. See our WISH LIST for other needs.
